We’ve created this course to help people manage difficult emotions, whether they are yours or the emotions of those around you.

Anger is the primary emotion that society knows very little about. As a result we have become afraid of anger, an emotion that we all experience.

Often anger is the outward expression of something much deeper going on inside, it is used as a defence mechanism to hide our pain, fear, insecurities, and vulnerabilities.

Just the thought of coming on an anger management course will, I’m sure, have brought up uncomfortable feelings. Many people struggle time and time again to actually move on, from thinking about it- to taking their first step.

One of our main aims is to create a safe space to explore anger, helping you to understand others and yourselves a little more, enabling you to handle difficult situations more effectively, staying safe if it is someone else’s anger and expressing it much more appropriately if it your own.

 There are many books and courses on anger management; this is our take on the subject. I have twenty five years of experience of working with people who have struggled with their emotions, including myself. As a father of three teenage children my understanding of emotions is constantly put to the test. Anger isn’t unique to any one individual, it’s a universal emotion. I have found through personal experience that this way of looking at anger, and the practical methods of dealing with anger that we suggest, are incredibly effective, but this doesn’t mean that this course is a quick fix.

This course will give you the tools to go out and begin working out your issues and destructive patterns, helping you to take responsibility for yourself and enabling you and others to stay safe.
